1. Laboratory composition

The laboratory is divided into solid laser R&D laboratory, high-tech industrialization laboratory, optical fiber technology R&D laboratory, laser application laboratory, high-power pulse laser R&D laboratory, advanced fiber laser light source R&D laboratory, etc.

2. Laboratory development direction and goals

The laboratory focuses on the development of advanced laser light sources and advanced optical precision manufacturing technology, specifically researching ultrafast laser technology, mid-infrared and ultraviolet laser technology, ultrafast laser micro-nano processing, micro-nano optomechanical systems, micro-nano manufacturing, micro-nano Optical materials, optical imaging and related detection technologies. Carrying out multi-disciplinary interdisciplinary research has established a good scientific research platform for innovation in interdisciplinary fields. Promote the development of advanced laser and optical precision manufacturing technology and cultivate relevant professional technical talents.

3. Development history

In February 2010 , according to the subject construction layout of Guangdong universities and the scientific research development plan of universities, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education approved Shenzhen University to build the "Advanced Optical Precision Manufacturing Technology" Guangdong General University Key Laboratory (provincial and municipal construction) (see Guangdong Education and Science Letter [2010 ]18 ). In January 2014 , it successfully passed the acceptance inspection by the expert group of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education. In December 2018 , it was transferred from Shenzhen University to Shenzhen University of Technology.

4. Laboratory scale

The laboratory has a laboratory area ofmore than 900 square meters and a clean room of 300 square meters. After more than five years of preparation, it has been basically equipped with spectrometers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, autocorrelators, FROG , fiber fusion splicers, fiber coating machines, infrared Temperature detectors, low-power / high-power power meters, optical fiber grinders, optical fiber tapering machines, large-core optical fiber processing systems, inverted fluorescence microscopes and other laser devices, laser light sources, laser application manufacturing and testing equipment, total value of related equipment About 20 million yuan.

5. Team introduction

The laboratory has a high-quality teacher and scientific research team, with 13 full-time teachers , 11 of whom have doctoral degrees, including 3 professors , 3 associate professors , 2 assistant professors, 3 full-time researchers , and 1 experimentalist people, including 1 laboratory secretary . There are more than 20 postdoctoral fellows, doctoral candidates and master's degree candidates . Laboratory team memberscover professional fields such as optics, optical engineering, mechanical engineering, laser processing, circuits and control.

6. Laboratory results

Since its establishment, the laboratory has undertaken a number of major national scientific research tasks in the fields of high-power lasers, laser special processing, optical sensing, and biomedicine. In the past five years, it has obtained about 20 million yuan in various scientific research funds and developed related lasers and laser equipment, including 450 W near-infrared nanosecond solid-state laser, 300 W near-infrared picosecond solid-state laser, 200W near-infrared disk laser, 100 W near-infrared femtosecond laser, 100 W ultraviolet picosecond laser, 200 W thulium-doped fiber laser, 30 W white light supercontinuum light source, highly stable holmium-doped / thulium-doped / erbium-doped / ytterbium-doped series superfluorescence light sources and frequency swept lasers Light source, special plastic laser welding machine, urinary system treatment instrument, etc. At the same time, a number of important research results have been achieved, including the first prize of Guangdong Province Science and Technology Progress Award, the first prize of Shenzhen Science and Technology Progress Award, the second prize of Shenzhen Science and Technology Progress Award, the first prize of China Optical Society, and the first prize of Science and Technology Innovation of China Optical Engineering Society.
