The Pre Defense Meeting for The Master's Thesis in Mechanical Engineering at the 19th Grade Has Been Successfully Completed

On the afternoon of March 11, 2022, the Sino-German College of Intelligent Manufacturing organized a pre-defence session for the MSc Thesis in Mechanical Engineering in the 2019 cohort. The pre defense of a master's thesis aims to identify relevant issues in the thesis as early as possible and comprehensively under the guidance and evaluation of experts during the initial stage of graduate degree application, and to revise and optimize the thesis based on the suggestions and opinions of experts.

 

Due to the impact of the epidemic, this pre defense was conducted through Tencent Meeting's online video format, with a total of 11 graduate degree applicants participating in the pre defense. Five experts and professors were invited to participate in the pre defense evaluation. Professor Zhang Wenwei serves as the chairman of the defense evaluation committee, and the evaluation experts also include Professor Chen Fei, Vice Dean of the Sino-German College of Intelligent Manufacturing at Shenzhen Technology University, Professor Gong Feng, Vice Dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical and Control Engineering at Shenzhen University, Associate Professor Zhang Guoqing, Discipline Leader of the School of Mechanical and Electrical and Control Engineering at Shenzhen University, and Associate Professor Fang Licun, Control Direction at the Sino-German College of Intelligent Manufacturing at Shenzhen Technology University.

 

 

In addition to degree applicants and evaluation experts, more than 40 people were online at the conference, and students and teachers interested in the pre defense also attended the pre defense online.

 

The pre defense meeting lasted for 6.5 hours. During the defense, the judges and experts provided corresponding suggestions and opinions on the content, format, and PPT self description of each degree applicant's thesis.
