Once the competitive training camp was launched, more than 150 students from all over the school signed up. After technical foundation screening and drawing lots, 54 students from 8 colleges were successfully selected. Within two days, the Robotics Association and a joint teaching team of enterprise mentors conducted a teaching course centered on multimodal ROS robots. Through theoretical knowledge teaching, robot technology practice, and competitive assessment, students learned and mastered core knowledge in the field of intelligent robots such as mobile robot ROS programming, chassis motion control, path planning algorithms, robot vision, and system integration, improved the knowledge application ability and engineering literacy of the majority of students.             

On the afternoon of April 9th, after intensive learning, all campers formed 11 teams for a competitive assessment. In the end, the "Songling LIMO" team, the "Summit Meeting Sedimentation" team, and the "Lantian Road Learning" team won the first, second, and third place respectively, and won the hard core technology robot product sponsored by the enterprise.  

After the ROS competition, the students took a group photo as a souvenir. Subsequently, Professor Li Wenxian and Associate Professor Zhang Yang issued certificates of completion to all students participating in this mobile robot ROS training camp, officially announcing the successful conclusion of this mobile robot ROS training camp.  

Looking back at this ROS training camp, students utilized the hardware equipment and course materials provided by the camp to continuously explore the SLAM and ROS fields. They not only gained practical experience with ROS systems, but also received careful guidance from corporate instructors. After this competitive training camp, students have a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of robot technology.
