Enterprise Introduction:
In 2002, Siemens Healthcare Magnetom (Shenzhen) Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shenzhen Base") was established and has now become one of the largest R&D and production bases of Siemens Healthcare outside its German headquarters. The Shenzhen Base covers the R&D and production of magnetic resonance imaging systems, angiography systems, and medical electronic components. The Shenzhen Base has fully established a complete linkage from frontend pre-research, component R&D, intelligent production to digital supply chain, becoming the only R&D and production base with a complete value chain in Siemens Healthcare's global MRI operation system.
The Shenzhen Base has cultivated a local elite team that integrates all core technologies of MRI, including magnets, gradients, radio frequency, system components, software, and application development. It has successfully developed and produced multiple MRI products that are widely welcomed in the Chinese market. In addition, it actively expands innovative cooperation with government, industry, academia, research, and medical institutions to drive the development of China's high-end medical equipment industry chain. As of May 2023, the cumulative shipment of complete equipment from the Shenzhen Base has reached 8,000 units, covering over 100 countries and regions, with the localization rate of product components reaching 80%.
In May 2023, Siemens Healthcare announced an additional investment of over 1 billion yuan to build a new high-end medical equipment R&D and manufacturing base in Nanshan District, Shenzhen. Upon completion, it will become a new R&D and manufacturing base under Siemens Healthcare's "dual-site operation mode" in Shenzhen.
