Micro-LED is a new display technology with many advantages such as high brightness, low power consumption, fast response, wide viewing angle, self-illumination, long life, high contrast, high resolution, etc. It is in line with people's current requirements for high-quality displays. All requirements are met, and it is perfectly suitable for near-eye display applications such as AR and VR. The developed Micro-LED display module for AR/VR is shown in Figure 6.1.
